Yes, the initial consultation (call or in-person) is completely free if you’re within about 15 miles of my location (North Phoenix near Desert Ridge Marketplace). Beyond that, there’s a small mileage charge (around $0.50–$.75 per mile round-trip) to cover travel time and gas. It’s the best way for us to meet, talk about your animals’ routines and needs, and make sure we’re a good match. I don’t book paid services without it, but after the first chat we can go straight to scheduling.

Life happens, so I’m flexible. For one-time visits, cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before with no charge. For recurring services (weekly walks, regular sitting, etc.), give me 24 hours’ notice and we’ll shift it—no fee. Last-minute changes (under 24 hours) may incur a small fee ($10–$20) to cover my blocked time, but I’ll always work with you to find another slot.

All pricing is flexible and customized after our free consultation. Base rates cover standard care, but add-ons (like tangled mane detangling, patient bathing, yard cleanup, house checks, etc.) are charged separately so you only pay for what you need.
