Autumn Avey

Hi, I’m Autumn Avey, the owner and hands-on provider behind Autumn Does It All.

I operate a professional pet care service specializing in dog care, including walking, sitting, and in-home care. I focus on building trust with clients through clear communication, reliability, and consistent, attentive handling of animals. I have hands-on experience working with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I prioritize safety, structure, and calm, confident care in every interaction.

Alongside my dog care experience, I have a strong foundation in equine work built over more than a decade of hands-on involvement. Through working student roles and daily barn responsibilities, I developed discipline, responsibility, and a deep understanding of animal behavior through tasks such as grooming, feeding, stall cleaning, and exercising horses. I have experience in both Western and English riding, which further strengthened my ability to read and handle animals in structured environments.

As a college student majoring in business, I continue to grow my experience in dog care and animal handling while developing a professional, organized service built on communication, consistency, and client trust. My goal is to expand my work in dog care and training while maintaining the strong work ethic and foundation I developed through equine experience.

What sets me apart is a combination of real, hands-on animal experience and a strong sense of responsibility. I show up consistently, communicate clearly, and prioritize the safety and well-being of every animal in my care.

I’m excited to continue growing in the animal care field and helping clients feel confident that their pets are safe, cared for, and understood.

What I Value

  • Building real trust with animals and their owners is everything to me. I show up consistently, communicate openly, and always put honesty first. If your horse needs more rest today, or if I’m not the right fit for what you need, I’ll tell you straight. I’d rather lose a client than pretend everything’s okay when it isn’t. You deserve someone who’s real with you, every single time.

  • The bare minimum isn’t enough for me. If your dog is anxious during a bath, I’ll stay longer and go slower. I show up ready to give more than what’s expected, because your home and animals deserve every bit of extra care and attention I can give.

  • Every animal, big or small, bold or shy, gets my full attention and respect. I don’t cut corners on their comfort or safety just because no one’s watching. They can’t speak up for themselves, so I make sure my actions always put their well-being first.
